CoachSim

CoachSim is an AI coaching practice environment. Trainee and qualified coaches use it to run unlimited practice sessions with simulated clients, get session feedback grounded in established coaching frameworks, and develop the skills that supervision and live practice can only give them so much of.

What it does

A coach signs in, picks a client persona, and runs a full coaching session by chat or voice. The session can continue across multiple sittings — up to five sessions per persona — so the coach can practise contracting, working through resistance, and closing across a real arc rather than a single conversation. After each session, the coach gets structured feedback drawing on ICF competencies, motivational interviewing, ACT, GROW, CLEAR, and self-determination theory. The practice ground that supervision keeps pointing toward, available between supervision sessions.

Stack

What I built

End-to-end. Product strategy, UI, the prompt architecture for the simulated clients and the feedback engine, the subscription flow, the auth and multi-session continuity logic, the email pipeline, and the landing site. Now in steady refinement.

Where it is now

Live at coachsim.co.uk. Used by individual coaches and a small number of training cohorts.
